In collaboration with rental companies, our hotel provides guests with all the necessary information and assistance for renting a car or scooter.

At Anthemis Hotel, our top priority is the safety and well-being of guests and staff. Due to the developments of COVID-19, we work diligently, monitoring daily updates and travel protocols.These include:

Hotel Staff
› A coordinator is assigned to oversee the implementation of the Action Plan according to the protocol.
› Hotel staff undergo regular self-diagnostic testing for Covid-19.
› Staff is equipped with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
› All our employees are adequately informed about the communicative approach to our guests and the actions to take in case of a confirmed case.

Public Areas (Indoor & Outdoor)
› Social distancing rules apply to all common areas to avoid crowding, following government guidelines.
› Signs are placed everywhere to remind guests to maintain distance.
› Hand sanitizing stations with COVID-19 tested sanitizers are available in every part of the hotel.

Reception
›  According to the Greek health protocol, we are obligated to maintain an updated list of all hotel guests (name, nationality, arrival and departure dates, contact information, address) for effective communication in case of a later identified COVID-19 case.
›  The duration of check-out and check-in is extended to allow thorough cleaning, disinfection, and natural ventilation of rooms.
›  All key cards are sanitized before being handed over at check-in.
›  Entry to rooms for non-residents is prohibited.
›  In case of an incident, a medical kit containing single-use gloves, masks, sanitizers, cleansing wipes, aprons, long-sleeved robes, and a thermometer is available.

Cleaning, Disinfection, Hygiene (Rooms & Common Areas)
›  Adherence to a cleaning and disinfection schedule according to the circular of the Ministry of Health “Measures for cleaning and disinfecting spaces and surfaces during the evolution of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic“.
›  Enhanced cleanliness in all common areas with particular attention to cleaning “high-touch points“.
›  Room cleaning and ventilation during the hours between stays.
›  Before a room is allocated to a guest, it undergoes meticulous cleaning and disinfection with a steam cleaner on critical surfaces of the room and bathroom.
›  Fabric surfaces are cleaned with a steam device (temperature> 70°).
›  Washing of fabrics, bed linens, and towels in a laundry facility following guidelines.

Our hotel is located in the “Kalami” area of Samos. It is only a 10’ walk from the city center and just 3’ from the nearest beach, Gagou.
